Learn MoreBestSelf Offering New Remote Service Options during COVID-19 Outbreak
As global concerns about the current COVID-19 outbreak grow, BestSelf Behavioral Health is doing our best to minimize the disruptions to our day-to-day operations and keep everyone, including clients and our staff, healthy and safe. As of today, BestSelf clinics are open and serving clients. BestSelf will be offering counseling and medication management appointments via telemedicine. All in-person group sessions have been suspended and replaced by on-on-one phone counseling. Technology for virtual group sessions will be in place soon. BestSelf clients should contact their clinic or program for more specific information and the latest updates.
BestSelf clinics remain open for clients unable to access their services via technology but we encourage clients to call to get the latest updates prior to visiting. We have reduced the number of employees at our sites with many staff now working from home. Enhanced cleaning measures have been implemented at all program locations. All clients and visitors are being screened prior to entering our buildings.
“The COVID-19 outbreak is an unprecedented event and is, understandably, causing a great deal of anxiety in our community. Throughout this outbreak, BestSelf will continue to do our best to meet the behavioral health needs of our community” stated Howard K. Hitzel, Psy.D., President/CEO of BestSelf Behavioral Health. “In addition to continuing to serve all existing clients, same-day telephonic clinic visits are available to anyone seeking help with a mental illness or substance use disorder. The health and safety of our clients and staff is of utmost importance to BestSelf and we continue to monitor the guidance we are receiving from government at all levels.”
