The BestResponse Intensive Crisis Center is a vital resource offering immediate assistance to individuals grappling with acute mental health and substance use challenges. Our dedicated services are available round-the-clock, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Servicing all age groups across the five counties of Western New York.
Primary Objective: Our primary objective is to establish a nurturing and highly responsive environment that effectively redirects individuals away from Emergency Department admissions, delivering a more fitting and customized response to their critical situations.
Comprehensive Stabilization: Individuals can receive support for up to 23.5 hours, focusing on non-acute stabilization services centered on Mental Health and Substance Abuse. We emphasize an integrative approach, incorporating co-occurring principles to address complex needs effectively.
Comprehensive Services: BestResponse will offer a range of services, including voluntary behavioral interventions, medication management, support for mild to moderate withdrawal or intoxication, and psychosocial assessments.
Continuum of Care: Following a visit to the center or upon an individual’s decision to leave (bearing in mind that our facility is not a locked one), our dedicated staff will explore community-based and less intensive levels of care. This ensures a smooth transition and continuity of care for our clients.
Collaborative Development: Currently, we are in the planning stages of establishing this facility. In close collaboration with the five counties, we are actively shaping the center’s structure and operational guidelines to ensure it meets the specific needs of our community.
